Questions
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. The AI model is downloaded to your browser and every pixel is processed on your own device. The only network request this tool makes is for the model file, and it happens once.
Why is there a one-time download?
Removing a background needs a neural network. Because the work happens on your device instead of on a server, the model has to be fetched once. After that the tool works offline and costs nothing per image.
Is there a watermark or a sign-up?
Neither. You get a full-resolution transparent PNG with no watermark and no account.
What if my browser does not support WebGPU?
The tool falls back to a smaller model that runs anywhere. Edges are less refined, but it still works.
