Batch Product Images for Shopify, Amazon, and Etsy
A multi-marketplace catalog often starts with the same photo but needs different output files. The safest shortcut is a repeatable rule per destination, followed by a result check. ImgMin processes images on your device and can export individual files or a ZIP for a batch.
Sort sources before processing
Keep original photos in one folder and make a working copy list for each destination. Give sources stable names that identify the product and view. Do not overwrite originals: you may need to change the crop, size, or format after reviewing a platform listing.
Separate main images from lifestyle and detail images. Amazon main images have stricter composition rules; Shopify storefront display depends on theme; Etsy’s first listing photo needs thumbnail-friendly framing. Make one local rule per destination

Start with a small representative set: a detailed product, a smooth or white-background photo, and an image with text or transparent edges. Their results reveal whether a shared quality or size choice is too aggressive. Do not assume that one target KB will suit all sources.
Read the results, then export
For every output, check the actual KB, pixel dimensions, format, and any target status shown by ImgMin. Zoom in on the details a buyer needs to see. Adjust the rule and rerun any result that fails a platform requirement or loses useful clarity.
Download individual files or the batch ZIP. Check the exported filenames before uploading to the marketplace; duplicate source names should be distinguishable in ZIP output. A download click only starts a browser download, so confirm the files are present on your device before discarding your session.
Validate on the destination
Upload the prepared copies and inspect each platform’s preview or rejection message. Local processing prepares the files but cannot guarantee that a marketplace will accept or display them as expected. Keep the original and the saved rule, then revise only the affected destination output.
